At this time we are *only* accepting certain electronic devices.

Scruffy Scraps provides a collection service for specific types of E-waste
in southern California and is
an active participant in the Cal Recycle
Electronic Waste program. We offer California residents a cost free drop off for "covered" electronic devices and a limited number of other electronic devices.

The landscape for recycling/reuse of electronic devices in California is changing.
All electronics devices that we can accept are still free of charge.
F.A.Q.
Which electronic items do you take, not take and why?

Scruffy Scraps provides a community service to help keep
unwanted electronic devices out of the local landfills.

Unfortunately the only items covered under the Ca state
program at this time are televsions.  In the past we have
been able to accept most "e-waste" since there was some
residual value in the plastics, metal and other components
that make up the majority of ewaste devices.

The items we can take currently are covered under the Ca
Ewaste program or have enough residual value that they do
not cost Scruffy Scraps money to get into the recycle stream.

This is a list of the items we can and cannot accept.

Scruffy Scraps "does not" provide a service to charge consumers for electronic devices, therefore there are many devices we are unable to accept at this time.

Most places that can accept all types of electronic devices may charge a fee.
